UPCOMING MEETING
June23: Larry will demonstrate his macro rail that allows him to make steady, up close, and macro photos, followed with how he conducts focus stacking within his camera. After his demonstration, members can photograph items to practice up close and macro photography. We’ll have LED lighting which can be challenging in getting the correct exposure. Members, if they want, may also bring their own props to photograph under LED lighting.
After everyone takes their photos, members can provide Larry their memory card to show off their photos. If members use their cell phones, they can text the photos to Larry for viewing. Finally, members can send their photos to the club’s website for viewing at the June meeting.
June’s Photo Challenge will be Architecture. To make the challenge interesting, we suggest photos that reflect architectures within the city of Harrisonburg.
We will have another summer scavenger hunt. A list can be seen in the Scavenger Hunts tab above. The basic requirement is that the photo is taken in June, July, and August of this year and submitted to the club before the September meeting.
